1. Any notice or communication shall be deemed to have been received: if delivered by hand, on signature of a delivery receipt; if sent by pre-paid first-class post or other next working day delivery service, at 9.00 am on the second Business Day after posting or at the time recorded by the delivery service. This clause does not apply to the service of any proceedings or other documents in any legal action or, where applicable, any arbitration or other method of dispute resolution. A notice given under this agreement is not valid if sent by email.

2. Unless otherwise provided expressly in the Agreement, all Notices shall be deemed to have been duly served upon the earliest occurrence of the following circumstances: (1) if delivered in person, the day of receiving correspondence; (2) if sent by registered mail or express delivery, on the seventh day after sending with postage fully paid; (3) if sent by fax, at the time of sending attached with a report proving having sent it out.

3. Any notice or other document given in conformity with Article 151 shall be deemed to have been given at any of the following times as may be appropriate:- when it is delivered personally to the Member, at the time when it is so delivered; or when it is sent by prepaid mail to an address in Singapore or by prepaid mail to an address outside Singapore, on the day following that on which the same was put into the post; or when it is sent by cable, telefax or telex, on the day it is so sent.

Save as aforesaid any notice or document delivered or sent by post to or left at the registered address of any Member in pursuance of these Articles shall (notwithstanding that such Member be then dead or bankrupt or otherwise not entitled to such share and whether or not the Company have notice of the same) be deemed to have been duly served in respect of any share registered in the name of such Member as sole or joint holder.

5. When a given number of days' notice or notice extending over any other period is required to be given the day of service shall, unless it is otherwise provided or required by these Articles or by the Act, be not counted in such number of days or period.

6. However, any failure by a party to do so or delay by it in doing so shall not prejudice the effectiveness of service of the relevant Service Document on the agent of the Subscriber.
